Connect 3 is a fictional band in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. It is made up of Shane, Nate and Jason Gray.
History of Connect 3[]
The band formed at Camp Rock, where they used to go every summer when they were younger. Once they reached big, their music was, as Shane describes, "cookie cutter popstar" stuff. This seems to make Shane rebel, as a result he decides to leave the set of a Connect 3 video. Nate and Jason were done with Shane's behavior, which is why the band had to cancel their summer tour and send Shane to Camp Rock to work, hoping that he'll get back to his musical roots and get rid of his cocky attitude.
While at Camp Rock, Shane develops a different style of music, and the band performs at the Beach Jam in the movie.
